Mankumpi Constituency
Hon. Lukas Muha
Mankumpi Constituency
Chairperson: National Council
The Mankumpi Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Kavango West Region of Namibia. The administrative center is the village of Satotwa. Mankumpi was created in August 2013 forming the south-eastern part of the former Kahenge Constituency before the split of the Kavango region into two.
SWAPO won the 2015 regional elections with Lukas Sinimbo Muha becoming the first Councillor for that constituency and again retrieved the position uncontested during the 2020 elections.
After being elected as a National Council member for the second time, Muha was elected as the Chairperson of the National Council being the first in that position since Independence from both Kavango West and East.
