Mpungu Constituency
Mpungu is a constituency in the Kavango West region of Namibia. It had a population of 20 787 in 2011, up from 18 660 in 2001. Before August 2013 the town of Nkurenkuru belonged to Mpungu constituency when it was situated in the than Kavango West before the demarcation of the region in two. Following a recommendation of the Fourth Delimitation Commission of Namibia, and in preparation of the 2014 general election, the Kavango Region was spilted into Kavango East and Kavango West.
Nkurenkuru Constituency was created from an area of Mpungu. Both constituencies belong to Kavango West. The Mpungu Constituency accommodates the only settlement in the region called Katwitwi Settlement.
Titus Kandjimi Shiudifonya of SWAPO was elected as Councillor for the constituency in 2015 and retrieved his position during the 2020 regional elections making him the political leader for the second term until 2025. Shiudifonya was also elected as a member of the Management Committee.
Nkurenkuru Constituency
Nkurenkuru Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Kavango West Region. It was created in August 2013, following a recommendation of the Fourth Delimitation Commission of Namibia and in the preparation of the 2014 general elections.
The administrative center of Nkurenkuru Constituency is the town of Nkurenkuru. Before the administrative change in 2013 the area of this constituency, including the town of Nkurenkuru was part of Mpungu Constituency in the Kavango Region.
Damian Haikera Nakambare of SWAPO won the 2015 regional elections after which Fillipus Ndara Tenga took over solely uncontested in the 2020 elections making him the political leader for the constituency until 2025. Tenga was also elected at a member of the Management Committee.
Tondoro Constituency
Tondoro Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Kavango West Region of Namibia. The name derives from the village and mission station Tondoro, however the administrative center is in the village of Mburuuru being the constituency office.
In 2013 the Kavango Region was split into Kavango East and West. Tondoro was formed from the western half of the former Kahenge Constituency.
Joseph Sivaku Sikongo is one of the longest serving councillors even before the split of the Kavango Region into two. He won as councillor for the new constituency at the 2015 regional elections and was elected as Chairperson of the Council and Management Committee.

Musese Constituency
Musese is a constituency in the Kavango West Region of Namibia. After the split of the Kavango Region into two, Musese was formed from the north-eastern part of the former Kahenge Constituency. The administrative capital of the constituency is at the village of Rupara.
As in all Kavango West Constituencies, SWAPO won the 2015 regional elections of which Sakeus Kudumo became the Councillor. In the 2020 elections still SWAPO won the 2020 regional elections with Kosmos Kayayuka Katura taking over as Councillor until 2025 serving as an Ordinary Member of the Council.
Kapako Constituency
Kapako is a constituency in the Kavango West Region of Namibia. The administrative center is at the village of Kapako. The population as of 2011 stood at 26 983 above the 26 263 of 2001.
The constituency until 2013 belonged to the Kavango Region. In 2013, following a recommendation of the Fourth Delimitation Commission of Namibia, and in preparation of the 2014 general election, the Kavango Region was split into Kavango East and West. The new Ncamagoro Constituency was created from the southern part of Kapako, so that Kapako is now much smaller than before.
Johannes Hamba Karondo of SWAPO won the 2015 regional elections as the Constituency Councillor and retrieved his position uncontested in the 2020 regional elections. Karondo was elected as the Member of the National Council.
Ncuncuni Constituency
Before the split of the region into two, the Ncuncuni Constituency in the Kavango West Region of Namibia was part of the Rundu Rural West Constituency until 2013. It is located west of Rundu, one of the Namibia’s largest cities. It had a population of 38 281 in 2011, up from 26 623 in 2001.
In 2013 the constituency was renamed as Ncuncuni and had since belonged to the Kavango West.The late Rosa Kavara won in 2015 as the Constituency Councillor and served in that position until her death in 2018.
Following the by-election that same year SWAPO’s Ritha Sindjanga took over as Councillor until 2020. Leopoldine Nseu of SWAPO then again took over and currently serving as the Councillor for Ncuncuni Constituency until 2025 serving as an Ordinary Member.
Ncamagoro Constituency
Ncamagoro Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Kavango West Region of Namibia. It was created in August 2013 in preparation of the 2014 general election. The administrative center is the village of Ncamagoro.
SWAPO’s Johannes Kahonzo Sikondo won the constituency at the 2015 regional elections and again retrieved his position in the 2020 regional elections until 2025. Sikondo was elected as a Member of the National Council.
Mankumpi Constituency
The Mankumpi Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Kavango West Region of Namibia. The administrative center is the village of Satotwa. Mankumpi was created in August 2013 forming the south-eastern part of the former Kahenge Constituency before the split of the Kavango region into two.
SWAPO won the 2015 regional elections with Lukas Sinimbo Muha becoming the first Councillor for that constituency and again retrieved the position uncontested during the 2020 elections.
After being elected as a National Council member for the second time, Muha was elected as the Chairperson of the National Council being the first in that position since Independence from both Kavango West and East.
